  • What Makes Veneers Such a Powerful Cosmetic Dentistry Option?

Porcelain veneers in Vancouver are one of the most versatile tools in your dentist’s toolbox. These tiny and thin porcelain shells can solve myriad cosmetic dentistry flaws that have frustrated patients for years. Using porcelain veneers, you can create the smile of your dreams by making subtle changes to the shape, color, size, alignment, or shape of your teeth — or even all of the above.

What are porcelain veneers?

Veneers are thin shells that are custom-made to fit your teeth. Veneers are composed of porcelain, which reflects light just like your natural teeth. Porcelain veneers cover one or multiple teeth to alter the shape, color, size, spacing, and alignment!

How do you get porcelain veneers in Vancouver?

We offer porcelain veneers in Vancouver so you can achieve the smile of your dreams in just two appointments!

First appointment

During your first appointment, your dentist will examine your teeth to create a personalized treatment plan catered to your needs and smile goals. You and your dentist will work together to decide on the best color and shape for your veneers, so they blend naturally with your teeth, lips, gums, and smile. Lastly, your dentist will remove a small amount of enamel so your veneers can lay correctly in their position.

Second appointment

Your dentist will make sure that the veneers fit perfectly on your teeth during the second appointment. Then, your dentist will bond the veneers to your teeth and ensure they are on securely. You will then have a new and improve your smile! With proper maintenance, your porcelain veneers can last over a decade!

The advantages of porcelain veneers

With porcelain veneers, you can receive a smile transformation by altering your teeth’ shape, alignment, spacing, shape, and color! Veneers are a versatile solution for those who want to receive cosmetic changes that can have an enormous impact on your smile and self-confidence.

Porcelain veneers from a dentist near you are so thin that you won’t feel them on your teeth. Your teeth will not feel bigger or heavier, and the veneers will not add any bulkiness to the inside of your mouth.

Porcelain veneers are permanently bonded to your teeth with specially designed materials to attach them to professionally prepared teeth.

If you follow your dentist’s instructions to preserve the life of your veneers — including avoiding some harmful habits like chewing ice, pencils, and your fingernails — veneers can last for 10 to 20 years.

Your dentist in Vancouver understands that the very last thing you want is a cosmetic dentistry option that looks fake, gaudy, and obvious in your smile. Custom-designed porcelain veneers blend naturally with your face while transforming your smile.

Porcelain is highly stain resistant, but can not be whitened. Your dentist in Vancouver will recommend that you have all your teeth professionally cleaned before you choose the colour of your veneers so that they will always blend seamlessly with your teeth in their very best condition.

Maintaining your veneers is straightforward and easy. It consists of everything you would typically do to keep your teeth and gums in pristine condition. Brushing twice a day and flossing daily as well as using mouthwash regularly. You must receive dental checkups and cleanings twice a year. This can ensure the longevity of your veneers and also help you achieve overall optimum oral health.

If you could change anything about your teeth, what would it be? Would you shape them differently? Close some gaps or make them all the same width? Do you wish they were longer, or whiter? Veneers can accomplish all of those things, and all at once. Whatever your cosmetic dentistry goals, porcelain veneers in Vancouver can help you achieve them.
